A Brief History about India

The natural corollary of ever increasing gap between aggregate Demand (Needs) and Supply (Production of household) is vicious circle of poverty. As a result of all this the region today is in the grip of acute poverty. Majority of population of the district lives below the poverty line and is miles away from the quality life. Traditional lifestyle coupled with culture of silence has added to the sorrow of the people. As the level of awareness is very low, the benefits of public welfare schemes and governmental policies are not able to trickle down the benefits to the low strata in the district. This is about history of poverty in this district. In the name of poverty and poor people few middlemen and contractors have become the actual source of siphoning off the governmental funds and benefits.

Thus in a nut shell we can conclude that, in the name of development, the forest economy of the district received a serious jolt. The government hasn't come up with any other alternative plan for sustainable livelihood for the people of the district. Thus the population which was dependent on the forest had to pay a very heavy price for this model of development and industrialization  Nothing specific is done by public functionaries and government till date to redress the grievances’ of the affected people. The inroads of market forces due to globalization and liberalization have further distorted the cultural fabric of the district and the cultural identity of the tribal and other ethnic groups is under crisis. The homogeneous culture dissipated by the globalization and liberalization which rides on the wings of mass media have eclipsed the century old local culture. The historyabout India is same as in this case.  Thus the globalization and liberalization have attacked the life of the people on various fronts and have caused irreversible damages.

There was a paradigm shift in the economic pattern of the district in the last two decades as. With the onslaught of globalization and proliferation of market forces, this change in economic pattern is accelerated to a great extent. This paradigm shift came into being when Government gave the forests on lease to contractors and big corporate houses to extract timber and other non timber forest products. For example Paptu group was given the lease of cutting bamboo trees. These contractors and corporate houses in nexus with local administration and using money and muscle power over exploited the natural resources the forests. There was large scale deforestation which is not new in the history of India that too in the name of industrialization and development.

A Cultural History of India

The academic philosophy of Halfmantr.com is based on the very idea of inclusive development. This philosophy aims to bring the dynamic positive changes among the backward sections of the society through the dignified awakening and sustainability in every aspect of human life. Halfmantr.com also hopes to decrease the socio-economic inequality and to revive rural technology and innovation. To sensitize people about environment; role of woman; health and sanitation; fundamental and legal rights and legal aids is also the apex priority of the organisation.  All of the above is aimed for sustainable development, empowerment and self-dependency, enhancement of social cohesiveness and upliftment of the marginalized section of the society.

We would dedicate this section about history of Orissa. This economic and cultural subordination of tribal communities during British times was highly destructive, leading to the weakening of traditional institutions of village level government and to their ultimate pauperization. However, colonial relations of production and of domination and subordination have been retained in independent India in a form of ‘neo-colonialism’ and extractive capitalism, continued through the mechanisms of the market, ‘development’ and globalisation. Exploitation which was once carried out by the British administration is continued by the Indian elite and multinational corporations.

Rather than developing indigenous production models and funding indigenous agriculture, the resources of the poor are used to fund urban development. Despite the rapid urbanization of India, tribal communities continue to live in rural areas and do not benefit from the facilities of this development. In fact, urban development and globalization have led to growing economic disparities between regions and an expansion of the gap between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have-nots’.

The Greatest History about India

The Internet and other means of information technology have contributed to this phenomenon beyond comprehension. Globalization of public administration has meant “thinking globally and acting locally.” The concepts of the “new world”, the “global village”, and “global management” seem to characterize this notion of globalization and its implications for public administration.

Abouthistory of the globalization nothing much can be claimed. This notion of globalization, however, is also limited and deficient in that is synonymous with liberalization. The anticameralists raised it in favor of capitalist development, and the classical liberals raised it against statism in the nineteenth century. The liberal internationalists raised it against the doctrine of balance of power in the early twentieth century, and the raise it against the “raised” it against the “realist” view of nationalist and state sovereignty proclamations in international relations, not to mention the internationalist mission and claims of socialist led by the USSR.

Historyof india and globalization is interesting. The concept is also redundant because the liberalization of borders for a new world has been around for many decades, especially among the satellite nations of the West led by the Unite States, such as the developing countries of Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East Regulatory, labor and administrative policies have always been concessionary toward multinational corporations operating profitable business in the Third World. Again CAG and other international public administration consulting groups have been active in less developing nations, and publications on comparative and development administration have produced voluminous literature attesting to this phenomenon.

Globalization as a process and history about india using a political economy view is wonderful, this notion refers to globalization not as a phenomenon but as a process—a continuing process of capital accumulation in  modern capitalism that has been going on for centuries. Only recently has it intensified as a result of the availability of modern technology.

How to begin your preparation for Civil Services Exam and IAS Exam?

My first introduction to ias examination was quite early in life as most of my family members have given examfor ias. I used to be overwhelmed by the kind of duties and responsibilities which they shouldered. One very inspiring lesson as told by my uncle about civil service is that it is the only service through which the source of livelihood itself becomes the medium to serve the country.

My schooling honed my skills, developed in me a love for learning and taught me the value of people while my graduation years opened up a whole new world for me to explore. Thereafter the ias examination process brought a tremendous sense of self–discipline, self–control, patience, balance of views and above all humility. With these ideals, I kept alive the flame of making into the coveted ranks even after a number of failures.

I started a conscious preparation for the exam for ias in Pune in July 2006, soon after my graduation. I was also working in a software company where I got the job through campus placement. Initially for a few months, I tried to engage myself in both but then I realised that in this way I can’t be doing justice neither with my ias examination. So after a few months, I resigned and came to Delhi in December.

By this time, I was concentrating about civil services. After arriving in Delhi, I gave a decent thought on optional decision. I decided to leave Electrical (my graduation subject) because I saw that its syllabus has gone beyond reasonable standards. Then I pronged upon History, Geography, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology and Philosophy. I consulted few basic books for all these subjects and after a number of deliberations, I finally zeroed on Geography and Public Administration.

I decided to prepare Geography by myself. I therefore purchased the necessary books and made sure that at least four readings of all the books get complete till May 2007. In between, I also managed to devote some time to Public Administration. The knowledge which I gained through these subjects helped me greatly in General Studies.

After the Prelim, I decided to do extensive writing practice as I considered it very necessary for Main. For this, I joined ALS to know about civil services. However due to paucity of time, I was not able to cover the syllabus of Public Administration properly and due to this, I became slightly nervous.
